This sample kit is the result of some serious crate digging — a true labor of love for fans of gritty, vintage sound. Every drum hit, stab, and texture was carefully selected from obscure vinyl gems and dusty old records, capturing that raw character you just can’t fake.

Each sound was meticulously sampled into the legendary Akai S900, giving it that unmistakable 12-bit crunch and warmth that only classic samplers can deliver. From there, the samples were further sculpted and processed through one of the most revered effects units of all time — the Ensoniq ASR-X. With its lush filters, punchy envelopes, and warm saturation, the ASR-X added a rich layer of character and depth to every sound in this kit.

The end result? A collection of phat, beefy, and unmistakably old-school sounds that hit hard and ooze with vibe. Whether you're producing boom bap, lo-fi, or just want to inject some analog grit into your tracks, this kit is a must-have for any serious beatmaker.

All Sounds come in widely used WAV format for across-the-board compatibility. SND files are also included for users of 3rd Gen Akai MPC (1000, 2500, and 5000)

Also included are XPM files for quick loading in Modern MPCs and MPC software.

All samples come with 100% royalty-free licensing with purchase. Sounds cannot be reused, resampled, or redistributed in any form. 

Sounds can be used in commercial recordings without any further clearance.
